Terms of Service / Blavel

01 CONDITIONS

The accepted currency is either USD or EUR.
Can be paid via PayPal or bank transfer ONLY
Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after sketch approval.

The time it takes to complete your order varies from 1 week to 3 months depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, other work and con seasons.
For a Standard order:
Once the piece is finished, you will receive the image in full resolution with a size suitable for the Web.
For an order On Support: (ex: canvas, paper, to be agreed)
Once the piece is finished, you will receive the image in full resolution with a size suitable for the Web. In addition, the artwork will be delivered to your address by post (subject to extra charge) or by hand depending on your location, it is also possible to collect the work from the artist's studio (subject to a making appointments).

You get 1 rounds of changes on the commissioned piece included in the price.
A fee will be added if you want something changed on the final drawing (unless a misunderstanding from my side has been made.)
If you want the artist to modify something in the drawing that you previously approved, you will be charged a fee for modifying it.
The amount of extra charge depends on the change you wish to have

The artist:

The artist reserves the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.
The artist retains all copyright to the work of art ordered.
The artist will not claim intellectual property for your character.
The artist will not benefit more from the commissioned work unless you
(the customer) do not break any of the conditions.
The artist reserves the right to publish the work of art ordered online, in
his portfolio as well as in publications such as art books.

You (the customer):

You can use the artwork ordered on any website and
social network.
You cannot make a profit with the part ordered (resale, redistribution, download to paid services, printing, etc.)
You cannot modify the work of art ordered without the consent
of the artist.
You may be authorized to resell the original work of art if you have purchased it on a material medium (for example: canvas, watercolor paper), however, be sure to warn the artist or the Altérel group in advance, they may ,
if necessary, notify you of the current quotation of the work.
You retain the intellectual property rights of your character.
You may not use the illustrations ordered for any purpose
commercial.
The following is considered copyright infringement:
Reproduction / commercial use of the illustration protected by copyright (means to earn money in a manner not excluded from these conditions).
Claim the work of art like yours.

In some cases, commercial rights to the image can be purchased.

The buyer is not entitled to a refund once the artist has started working on the order.
If for any reason the artist is unable to start your order, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel your order before the work begins, you can get a full refund.
If you get a refund, don't ask for Paypal chargeback. The artist or the Altérel collective will transfer the money to you.
If you request a Paypal chargeback at a time when you have not been authorized to request a refund, you will lose all of the above rights to the part ordered. The artist, as well as the Altérel collective, will refuse retro-invoicing and will provide Paypal with proof of the work done for the client. In addition, you will be blacklisted.

Once the work is finished you will be provided with the following items:

Drafts / models that you have validated (depending on the complexity of the order, there may be more or less drafts).
final sketch (s) that you must accept before continuing the work (depending on the complexity of the order, it may
more or less sketch).
Preview (s) and color proof (s) (depending on complexity)
of the part ordered)
For a Standard order:

File in full resolution in A4 (approximately 210 x 297 mm at 300 DPI) of the final drawing and a smaller version for use on the Internet and social networks. The final file formats will be in PNG.
For an order On Support : (ex: canvas, paper, to be agreed)
